Do You Believe in Me?

1. Is he a good speaker? Why/why not?
Yes, I thought he was a very good speaker, because he stayed knew  his speech and made it more entertaining while not taking away from the words.

2. What were his good characteristics as a speaker? His bad?
I didn't really see any bad characteristics is in him. The good characteristics I seen was that he kept good energy the whole time, used gestures, and moved around the whole stage to look at all the different people, not just one section of them.

3. How did he use his voice (vocal inflection) to make his speech more effective?
When he wanted to make a point he got louder, but then when it was more of a serious statement he got a little softer, so that people would listen.

4. How did he use gestures to make his speech more effective?
He used natural hand gestures like he was just talking to a friend most of the time which made it easier to focus on what he was saying not that perhaps he was just standing there nervous. Also when he used gestures to represent a different part of  Texas, I think that helped him because he kind of made each part feel special.

5. Why do you think they selected him as their keynote speaker? (Keynote speakers are the main speakers of a meeting, convention, etc.)
It seemed like he had good speaking skills and wasn't scared of getting up and speaking in front of a bunch of people. Plus I think people listen more to a little kid more than another adult, especially when it is to represent them and what they need.

6. What was the main point of his message? Was it an important message? Why/why not?
I think the main point was to let the teachers, faculty, and older students know that the younger ones need their support and their help. I think it was a very important message because for those kids to have a hopeful future they need help and support.

7. Do you think the teachers believed his message? Did it inspire them? Why/why not?
I think they did because they were all cheering and clapping. I hope it inspired them so that the kids can  get the help they need and seem to want.

In 100-150 words, respond to the following:
What did you think of his message? If you were a teacher, would it have inspired you? Do not repeat any information that you used in the seven questions above

His message was very good and well delivered. If I was a teacher I would be inspired to help my students more after this. I would want to let them know that as their teacher I believe in them and all the goals that each individual student has. To know that the students feel so impacted by if the teacher believes in them or not, would hopefully inspire every teacher to believe. Usually you would think that children wouldn't think that far into the future, so the fact that this kid did inspired me too. This kid really inspired me to help the younger generation.

The font is hard to read. I would appreciate having that changed. If you don't know how to do it, let me know and I'll show you.

I'm surprised you didn't use a Batman template.
